Packetsaver (https://packetsaver.com) is an informational networking publication. We respect your privacy and design our guides and interactive networking utilities to collect the minimum data necessary to operate and improve the site.

1. Client-Side Interactive Networking Tools

All calculations performed inside our Networking Tools—including the IPv4 Subnet Calculator, WiFi Channel Planner, Router Default Login Finder, and Security Checklist Generator—execute 100% locally in your web browser via JavaScript. IP addresses, CIDR prefixes, and checklist selections entered into our tools are never transmitted to or stored on Packetsaver servers.

2. Analytics & Server Logs

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and standard Apache HTTP server logs to understand aggregate page traffic, referring search queries, browser types, and broken links. IP addresses in GA4 are anonymized by default. You can opt out of Google Analytics cookies at any time using browser privacy controls or the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. Outbound Manufacturer & Affiliate Links

Our guides link to official hardware manufacturer support portals (such as TP-Link, ASUS, Netgear, Ubiquiti, and Cisco) and may include retail affiliate links as detailed in our Affiliate Disclosure. Once you click an external link, the destination site's privacy policy governs your visit.
